On Navratri Day 4, we worship Maa Kushmanda, the fourth form of Goddess Durga. She is believed to be the creator of the universe and is depicted riding a lion with eight arms. Maa Kushmanda is said to bestow strength, health, and wealth upon her devotees.
Her name 'Kushmanda' is derived from 'Ku' meaning 'little', 'Ushma' meaning 'energy', and 'Anda' meaning 'cosmic egg'. It is said that she created the universe by laughing and filling it with light and energy. Devotees offer pumpkin as a prasad to Maa Kushmanda on this day, as it is believed to be her favourite fruit.
The fourth day of Navratri is dedicated to worshipping Maa Kushmanda and seeking her blessings for a prosperous life. As we pray to her with devotion and offer our humble prayers, may she guide us in the right path and bless us with happiness and success.
